don't be gel be reem.

hey dolls, So i'm sure you've seen the barry m gellly nail varnishes all over the blogosphere but i thought i'd do a little review about them seen as though i own a few. Ok so firstly i own five of them in the colors, "blue grape", "blood orange", "mango", "satsuma" and"lychee" When these first came out i knew i had to try them but they didn't have a huge range of colors to choose from so i left it a couple weeks and they brought out a few more colors. (They now have some really cute summery pastel colors). Ok so lets get to the nitty gritty, They retail at £3.99 but boots usually have offers on so look out for those. The first thing i noticed when i applied this is how opaque the color was you only need one coat to get the color to stand out, They do take a while to dry though so be prepared to sit with your hands in the air for a good 10 minutes (story of my life) however i've not tried any fast spray or seche vite on top to speed up the process. after they've finally dried they look so shiny and clean looking which thrilled me. For me these are let down by their staying power I found they chipped after the first day and by the fourth day i had to re-do my whole nails because they were very chipped, also something i found strange was that "blue grape" smelt absolutely vile! The rest of the varnishes smelt like normal nail varnishes but the blue grape one smelt very dodgy i don't know if it's just mine or if all the blue ones smell like that but that would put me off buying it again. overall i'm half and half with these i like the colours, the shine the price but just wished they stayed on longer :(.
so that's it for now,
let me know if you've tried them,
what did you think of them??

flower me with joy.

hey dolls, so i've seen floral crowns everywhere this summer (i even did DIY) but i recently seen on various blogs that primark had stocked a few crowns. so yesterday i caved in and headed to primark. as soon as i got there i went straight to the headband section (otherwise i'd forget what i went there for buy everything else and not remember till i'm sat at home) these are the only big "crownish" ones they had, they had a few smaller headbands similar but my hairs too long and thick for thin headbands so i settled for these 3. The white flower one was £2.50 and the other 2 were £3 which is incredibly cheap considering rock n rose sell them for 40 odd pounds. I don't own a rock n rose one because i refuse to pay that much so i'm thrilled i now own these cuties and will definitely get my fair share of wear (I'm a poet and i didn't know it ;)) out of them.  The only thing i'm gutted about is a few of the petals on the pink crown have black dirt on them which i noticed in the car on the way home, but i live 45 minutes away from the nearest primark so can't take it back but i'm sure i'll be able to fix that :) Also i was hoping primark @ ASOS would stock these online I've had a quick check and they don't but hopefully they will soon. so that's all for now. Hope you love these little beauties as much as i do.

ASOS premier.

Hey dolls, so I haven't blogged in a while i've had a lot going on which has took over the last few months but i'm happy to be back and blogging. So just because i haven't been blogging does by no means mean i have not been shopping! I got an E-mail from ASOS a couple of weeks ago asking if i wanted to upgrade to be a premier customer. I looked into it and for a limited time only it's £9.95 for next day delivery ALL YEAR!!!  yep all year! I ordered something an wanted next day delivery which costs £5.95 so for an extra £4 i could buy ASOS premier! It's amazing i've ordered so many different things from asos now and having them arrive the next morning is such an amazing feeling (is that sad?) The only downside is that now i get free delivery it's just an excuse to buy even more and my bank balance never looks good (even if i do thanks to asos haha)
I would definitely recommend this if you often shop at asos or new look or river island (they stock those too)  and also the most fantastic news out of all this is that..... PRIMARK ARE STOCKED AT ASOS. yes you can now buy primark online through asos which is amazing news.
so that's all for now! hope you liked this post
let me know if you sign up to asos premier :)
